Wichita is known for its skilled work force, successful business community and quality of life. Wichita is ethnically diverse. 79.5 percent of the population is white; 12 percent is African American, 3.4 percent is Asian or Pacific Islander; and 5.07 percent is of other races. 7.6 percent of all races in Wichita are of Hispanic origin.

Wichita has a wide variety of entertainment and cultural opportunities. From our nationally known Spring River Festival to our historic recreation of a early Wichita called Cow Town and on to the peaceful gardens of Botanica Wichita has a lot to offer.
